Contact us

Email syedahmadfahmybinsyedsalim@gmail.com. We reply within 2 working days. Please include your device (iPhone, Apple Watch, Android or web), the app version shown at the bottom of this page and, for a purchase question, the store you bought in.

Getting started

  1. Set your X values (how many push-ups and pull-ups you can do comfortably) when the app first opens.
  2. The Today tab shows the current day of the 30-day program. Tap Start to run it in guided mode, or open Plan to see every day.
  3. Finish the day and it is ticked. Your streak, badges and charts live in the You tab.

Frequently asked questions

What is X?

X is the number of push-ups (or pull-ups) you can do comfortably for 8 to 10 sets. Every workout is written in terms of X, so Day 1 starts at X+5 push-ups and Day 2 at X+1 pull-ups. You set your push-up X and pull-up X when you first open the app. To change them later open You → How this works, or You → All settings → Rep Levels.

Rest days and streaks

Days 3, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15, 18, 22, 26 and 29 are rest days. You do not need to open them: a rest day is ticked automatically once the workout before or after it is logged, so it never breaks your streak. Your streak counts consecutive calendar days with a completed day. Today does not break it until it is over. Every 7 days in a row you earn a streak freeze (up to 3 banked); if you miss a day the app offers to spend one when you next open it. See You → All settings → Streak Protection.

Guided mode and the microphone

Tap Start on today’s workout to run it step by step with rest timers. Reps can be counted three ways, cycled with the button at the top right: Tap (tap the circle), Voice (say the count out loud) and Auto (the app paces you). Voice mode uses your device’s speech recognition; the microphone is only on while Voice mode is active during a workout and nothing is recorded, stored or uploaded by us. Tap Skip or swipe to move on, and expand the list at the bottom to jump to any exercise.

Apple Watch

The watch app installs with the iPhone app (open the Watch app on your iPhone and look under Available Apps if it did not appear). On the wrist you can browse all 30 days, see your streak, run today’s workout with haptic cues and mark a day complete. Your X values, completed days and streak sync from the phone, and a day completed on the watch is sent back to the phone. If you allow it, the session is recorded in Apple Health. Both devices need to be paired and nearby; if the plan looks stale, open REPS X on the phone and tap Sync now.

Cloud sync and sign-in

An account is optional. Without one everything stays on this device. To sync across devices open the You tab and sign in with Apple or Google. Sync never overwrites newer progress with older progress: the device that is furthest ahead wins, and days done on two devices in the same round are combined. Tap Sync now on the You tab to pull the latest. Signing out keeps your local data on the device.

What is free and what is Premium?

Downloading the app and days 1 to 7 are free. There is no trial and no card is needed. Basic features include guided workouts for those days, 2 custom timers, progress, streaks and optional account sync. Premium unlocks days 8 to 30, unlimited custom timers and the Calories tab: food logging, quantities, favourites, photo estimates and nutrition targets. Premium is an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription, billed by Apple on iOS or Google on Android. You do not need an account to buy it; signing in is required for food photo scans and cloud sync.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought in, not by us. On iPhone: You → Manage subscription, or your App Store subscriptions. On Android: your Google Play subscriptions. On the web use Manage subscription in the app to open the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; on iOS cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app, or deleting your account, does not cancel a subscription.

How do I restore a purchase?

On a new phone, or after reinstalling, open You → Restore purchases (or Restore Purchases on the Premium screen) while signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. Premium follows the store account; signing in to REPS X also attaches it to your account so it follows you across devices.

Refunds

Apple and Google handle refunds for purchases made through their stores. iOS: reportaproblem.apple.com. Android: Google Play refund request. For a purchase made on the web, email us and we will sort it out.

Scanning a photo of your food

In Calories tap Photo (or the camera beside Name), take the picture and the app suggests a name, a portion and a calorie figure with a likely range. Tap Log to save it, or pick one of the options first. Food photos you scan are kept in your account so you can review them in Calories under Photos; delete any photo from the gallery, and deleting your account removes them all.

Why does the scan offer several calorie options?

The same plate can differ a lot in calories depending on what the camera cannot see: 5% or 20% fat mince, oil in the pan, a sauce, the portion size. The options show those readings so you can pick the one that matches what you know. Every figure is an estimate.

How many photo scans do I get?

While the feature is on trial everyone gets 3 photo scans a day, resetting at midnight UTC. A photo that turns out not to be food still counts, because it was analysed. Typing calories in never counts.

Where are my food photos?

In Calories tap the Photos row. Each photo shows its estimate and whether it was logged. Open one to change the option, edit the calories, log it to a day, or remove it. Removing a photo keeps the food entry unless you choose Delete photo and entry.

Delete your account

You can delete your account from inside the app:

  1. Open REPS X and go to the You tab.
  2. In the Account card tap Delete account.
  3. Tick “I understand” and tap Delete my account. You will be asked to sign in with Google or Apple once more to confirm it is you.

Your account and all cloud data are deleted immediately: workout progress and streaks, round history, settings and custom timers saved to your account, food photos and their estimates, and your Google or Apple sign-in for REPS X. The copy of that data on the device is removed too. This cannot be undone, so export a backup first if you want to keep your history (see Export your data below).

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and are not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel it in your App Store subscriptions or your Google Play subscriptions (or the billing portal for a web purchase). Purchase records are kept by Apple, Google or Stripe and our subscription processor as required for billing.

Cannot open the app? Email syedahmadfahmybinsyedsalim@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, subject “Delete my REPS X account”, and we will delete your account and cloud data within 30 days and confirm by email.

Export your data

You → All settings → Data & Backup → Export Progress saves your progress, notes, ratings and settings to a file you own. The same screen imports it again on another device. To wipe progress on one device without deleting your account, use You → Start the 30 days again.

App version

The current iOS and Android app version is 2.2. The version installed on your device is shown in the App Store or Google Play listing.
